Safety Certificate Toronto

Overview

A safety standards certificate confirms that your car met the minimum safety standards on the date the certificate was issued. It is not a warranty or guarantee of the vehicle’s condition. This certificate only provides the surety that your vehicle is safe to be on the road for the other travellers passengers in the vehicle .

You can buy and register a vehicle without a safety standards certificate, but cannot put license plates on a vehicle without a safety certificate.

To get a certificate, your vehicle must first pass an inspection at Best Deals Auto, licensed by the Ministry of Transportation (MTO).

We can provide you a certificate once your vehicle passes an inspection. Our licensed inspection station has a sign that says Motor Vehicle Inspection Station to verify the certificate.

Your vehicle must pass the Safety Test to qualify for the Safety Certificate. In case of failing the test – nothing to worry about. We are a full Auto Mechanic and Autobody shop with most auto make and models parts in our stock most of the time. We can get your car in and out in timely manner with a Ontario MTO certification.
